Admaxxer for n8n: marketing analytics in your workflows

The Admaxxer node for n8n reads your revenue attribution, web analytics and ad spend into any n8n workflow, so a weekly KPI report or a ROAS alert runs without anyone opening the dashboard. It has 12 read operations and never changes a campaign.

What the node reads

The n8n-nodes-admaxxer package adds one Admaxxer node and one Admaxxer API credential to n8n. It reads your workspace and returns the numbers as normal n8n items.

Step 1: Install the node

These steps are for self-hosted n8n. You need to be the instance owner or an admin to install community nodes.

  1. Open Community Nodes. In n8n, go to Settings, then Community Nodes, and select Install.
  2. Enter the package name. Type n8n-nodes-admaxxer as the npm package name.
  3. Accept the risk notice. Tick "I understand the risks of installing unverified code from a public source". The node's source is public on GitHub if you want to read it first.
  4. Install. Select Install. When it finishes, search for Admaxxer in the nodes panel and add it to a workflow.

n8n Cloud. The node has been submitted to n8n for verification and is not verified yet. Once n8n verifies it, it also shows in the nodes panel on n8n Cloud. Until then, install it on self-hosted n8n as described above.

Step 2: Add your Admaxxer credential

The credential is a read-only token from your Admaxxer workspace.

  1. Connect your data. Sign in at admaxxer.com and connect at least one ad account or tracked website, so there is something for the node to read. Open Integrations
  2. Create a read-only token. Open Integrations, then MCP, and select Generate MCP token. Leave the scope on Read-only. A read-only token is all this node needs. Open the MCP token page
  3. Add the credential in n8n. In n8n, add an Admaxxer API credential and paste the token. Select Test: it reads your workspace name and changes nothing.

Operations

Every operation is read-only. Dates default to the last 7 days. Money comes back in your workspace's display currency, in major units (dollars, not cents).

Good to know

Use it with the AI Agent node

The node can be used as a tool by n8n's AI Agent node. Add it as a tool on the agent and select your Admaxxer credential, and the agent can answer a question such as "What was our ROAS on Meta last week?" from live numbers instead of guessing.

Because every operation is read-only and the token is read-only, an agent that uses this node can look at your numbers but cannot change a campaign, a budget or a setting.

Which community nodes can be attached as agent tools depends on your n8n version and settings. If Admaxxer does not appear in the tool list, check n8n's community nodes documentation for your version.

Two example workflows

To use one, open Workflows in n8n, choose Import from File, then pick your Admaxxer credential in each Admaxxer node.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Can the n8n node change my campaigns or budgets?

No. Every operation in the node is read-only, and a read-only token is all it needs. The credential test reads your workspace name and changes nothing.

Q: Is the node available on n8n Cloud?

Not yet. The node has been submitted to n8n for verification and is not verified yet. Once n8n verifies it, it also shows in the nodes panel on n8n Cloud. Until then, install it through Settings, then Community Nodes, on self-hosted n8n.

Q: Which Admaxxer token does the credential need?

A read-only token from Integrations, then MCP. Connect at least one ad account or tracked website first, so there is data to return.

Q: What date range and currency do the results use?

Report operations cover the last 7 days unless you set dates in the node's options. Money comes back in your workspace's display currency, in major units, so dollars rather than cents.

Q: What happens when Admaxxer refuses a request?

The error in n8n shows Admaxxer's message and the fix it suggests, so you can correct the token or the settings and run the workflow again.

Q: Can an n8n AI Agent use Admaxxer data?

Yes. The node can be used as a tool by n8n's AI Agent node, so an agent can answer questions such as "What was our ROAS on Meta last week?" from live numbers. The agent can only read: the node has no operation that edits a campaign.
