### Why we do not gate signup with a card
We built Admaxxer to replace tools teams were paying for on day one. If you have to hand over a card to find out whether blended MER, CAPI match rate, and the Claude agent actually fit your workflow, the evaluation is rushed. Removing the card gate means the trial is purely about the product, not about remembering to cancel before a charge hits.
### What you provide at signup
During signup, Admaxxer collects:
- Your email (magic-link auth — no password to set)
- A workspace name
- Optionally, your Shopify store URL and ad account IDs for quicker onboarding
You can also sign in with Google or Apple if you prefer OAuth over magic link. No billing information is collected at this stage.
### When the card conversation happens
At the end of day 7, Admaxxer shows an in-app prompt to add a payment method via Stripe Checkout. If you add one, billing starts immediately at your selected plan — $29 Starter, $79 Pro, or $199 Agency. If you decline, the workspace becomes read-only until you activate a subscription. Your connected ad accounts stay linked; they just stop syncing until billing is live.
### What about annual plans?
Annual plans also start with the same 7-day trial and no card upfront. You only see the annual billing option once you move to add payment on day 7.
