Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: April 21, 2026

Admaxxer deletes your data on request within 7 days. This page explains every way you can initiate a deletion, what gets removed, how long it takes, and how to verify a deletion once it has been triggered (including Meta-initiated deletion callbacks required by the Facebook Platform Terms and honored under GDPR, CCPA, and PDPL).

1. How to request deletion

Option A — From your Admaxxer dashboard

Sign in and go to Settings › Danger Zone › Delete my data. Confirm the action and your workspace data, ad-platform tokens, and chat history are queued for deletion immediately. You will receive an email acknowledgement with a confirmation code you can use to check status at /data-deletion.

Option B — By email

Email hello@admaxxer.com with subject line "Delete my data" from the address on file. We reply with a confirmation code within one business day and purge your data within 7 days of verification.

Option C — Meta (Facebook) users

If you connected a Meta account, deletion is also triggered automatically when you remove Admaxxer from your Facebook settings at Settings › Business Integrations. Meta sends a signed data deletion callback to Admaxxer; we verify the signature, purge all data tied to that Meta user_id, and return a confirmation code plus a status URL — exactly as required by the Facebook Platform Terms.

2. What gets deleted

Operational logs containing your user ID are scrubbed or rotated within 30 days. Encrypted backups are purged on the rolling 30-day backup window; no plaintext secrets exist in backups because tokens are AES-256-GCM encrypted at rest.

3. Timeline & SLA

4. Check the status of a deletion

If you have a confirmation code, visit /data-deletion and paste the code into the status widget. The page will show whether the deletion is queued, in progress, or complete, and the timestamp of the most recent state change.

You can also call GET /api/meta/data-deletion/status?code=<your-code> directly.

5. Your rights under GDPR, CCPA, and PDPL

Admaxxer honors the deletion / erasure rights granted by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR Article 17), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA § 1798.105), and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). If you are covered by one of these laws, the deletion process described on this page is how we fulfill that right. No verification beyond your ownership of the account email is required; we do not require a copy of government ID.
